3. Trade agreements
What each arrangement can mean for a seller, and its limits. A preference is conditional: check the rules of origin before you quote.
Arrangement for import duty on trade in goods from certain British Overseas Territories
A seller can ship goods that originate in the territory to the United Kingdom free of import duty.
Rules-based preference: goods must meet the arrangement's origin rules and carry a EUR.1 certificate or origin declaration. Check the November 9, 2020 text before you claim it.

Commonwealth Caribbean Countries Tariff
A seller can ship qualifying goods to Canada at the preferential tariff when the content rule is met.
The Canada Border Services Agency's January 2026 list marks the territory for this tariff. Goods need 60 percent qualifying content and direct shipment; check the memorandum.

United States Caribbean Basin Economic Recovery Act
The territory is a designated beneficiary, so eligible goods can enter the United States under the program's preference.
The Trade Representative reports that no eligible goods from the territory entered under the preference in 2024. Other United States duties may apply; confirm the current rate with the importer.
