Markets & projects
Four words carry the whole model, and they mean the same thing everywhere in the product.
- A market is a country your company is pursuing.
- A corridor is origin to destination, usually with a product: Marula oil, Namibia to the United Kingdom.
- A project is your initiative on a corridor — the unit of work you and any advisors share.
- A roadmap is that project’s ordered steps.
Starting a project
A project starts from a product and a market, and a template gives it a ready-made roadmap: a market-entry checklist for exporting, or an investment setup for establishing a presence. You can edit, reorder, and check off steps — the roadmap is yours, not a script.
Entry methods
How you enter a market changes what the work is, so a project can carry an entry method: distributor, local hire via EOR, licensing, franchising, joint venture, greenfield investment, or a remote team. Not sure yet is a legitimate answer — pick one when the choice becomes real, and the roadmap adapts.
Comparing markets
If you have a product but no market, compare candidates before committing: demand, tariffs, and fit are hard to weigh across 190 countries by hand, and picking the one you have heard of is how good corridors get missed. Ask Meridian to compare a shortlist for your product.
